Recent Works

Card woven text and designs. Double face weaving, using patterns for font and most patterns, but some were my own or eyeballed from knitting patterns.

Gingerbread with orange blossom icing. Decoration collaborative with @basil.dazzle. Really loved painting with sugar art pigments/luster dusts. Somehow neither of us has any kind of rolling pin 🤷

An artful accident.

Olive oil honey cake with goat cheese and (homemade) fig jam fillings, mascarpone frosting and fresh figs on top. And some flowers from my garden.

I mixed recipes and made some adjustments on the fly -
It was a smash, we ate it

@basil.dazzle made a dissertation so I made a pinata, cake and pin the tassel/tears game to celebrate 😘

First time using dual forms and it opens so many possibilities!! Pinky broke off so still figuring out density at this length but pretty fun and dramatic. We'll see how long I last without cutting these down. Some of the pics are in progress photos
